The foundation of the Haven cushion starts with a partially plant-based 1.8 density high-resiliency (HR) foam core. It is then wrapped with a 2-inch layer of 2.5-density viscoelastic foam (memory foam) on both the top and bottom, followed by a soft layer of polyester fiber. This is not your typical memory foam which is temperature sensitive. Instead, this foam provides the latest technology that does not become hard in cold environments or unsupportive in hot environments. Originally designed for high-end mattresses, this advanced foam combines the best comfort characteristics of memory and conventional foam. In addition, the cushion provides responsive and luxurious support thanks to the billions of air pockets that allow air to flow through.
